The Fifth Tokyo International Conference for African Development (TICAD V) is being convened under the theme "Hand in Hand for a More Dynamic Africa". Discussions are expected to be focused around four main topics: economic growth; achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs); consolidation of peace/ good governance; and climate change. TICAD V is organized by Government of Japan, the UN Office of the Special Advisor to Africa, the World Bank, and the African Union (AU).

This conference is organized by the Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIP), University of Ghana Legon, Accra, under the auspices of the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) Innovation Research.

UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies June 2013
